We are planning a trip to Romania this fall (September 24(leaving Canada) - October 3 (returning to Canada Oct 4th) - kind of like another family reunion - only this time in Romania.  I have been doing some research, trying to contact family in Romania, and hope to have that in place before we arrive there.
The trip would see us arrive in Bucharest and tour Romania including  Sinaia, Brasov, Sighisoara, Constanta  - on the Black Sea resort - and Cuza Voda (where our family is from.)  We would have a tour guide and a tour bus to escort us around to all the places.

Final details are being worked out and I hope to have them to everyone by the end of January.

I have obtained a price from one of the tour companies at just under $1200/person - including - airport pickup, tour, bus, hotels, entrance fees to attractions, breakfasts, lunches, two dinners and all taxes. You would also be responsible for your flights there and back. A sample cost, return from Edmonton to Bucharest is $1588.

I am also in touch with an lady, from Saskatchewan who has been teaching over in Bucharest for the last three years, and she is assisting with properly planning the trip - to be sure that we see the best and enjoy the trip to the fullest.

Like any other tour - everyone is free to do their own thing.  If you choose to sleep in and have a late breakfast, miss a few sites - go shopping instead - that is perfectly all right

I am writing to see how many of you would like to join us on this trip.  If you seriously think you would like to come along, I need to know so that I can be sure that we have enough tour buses, and hotels spaces booked.
