Hello to all our Dear Family,
It is with a sad heart that we bring you the news of the passing of Harvey Fritz - dear husband of cousin Marie (Chiro) Fritz. Harvey passed away last night and we will be sure to let everyone know of funeral arrangements when they become available.
Descendent Line:
Ionita & Safta (Badea) Tonita -Florea (Tonita) and Vasile Pana - Fannie (Tonita) and George Chiro - Marie (Chiro) and Harvey Fritz.
Marie & Harvey were married in 1961 in Willowbunch, Saskatchewan (48 yrs). They had two children: Dana and Derek.
We send our sincerest and warmest condolences to you Marie and to Dana and Derek and your families. And a big hug to Marie's sister Doreen Koester and her family in the loss of their brother-in-law and uncle. |

Vasile "Bill" Radu of Windsor, Ontario passed away peacefully at home on August 15, 2009, with his wife Bertha and family at his side, at 82 years of age.
Our sincerest sympathies to his wife Bertha, his children Laura & Eric, Bob & Wendy, Lisa & Joe and their families in the loss of your husband, Dad and grandfather. Also we send our thoughts to all the cousins, aunties and uncles who were a big part of Bill's life.

Congratulations to Peggy and Steve Tonita who celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on July 9th. Many friends and family members were able to join Peggy and Steve in Prince Albert on Sunday August 1 to celebrate this special time with them.

Hello to our dear Family,
We are saddened to announce the news of the passing of our mother Marie Tonita - wife of John Tonita, son of Radu & Safta Tonita.
Mom gently slipped away Tuesday, Jan. 27th morning at 8:40 am, to be reunited in heaven with Dad and brother Murray and the many members of her family waiting there.
Thank you to so many of you that have sent wonderful words of condolences....we are comforted by your words.

A baby sister for Ethan! Rylee Alxis was born November 3rd, 2007 in Smiths Falls, Ontario. Rylee weighed in at 7lb. 12oz. and measured 20.75 inches.

AUTUMN RAYNE HEYN was born on June 3 at 2:19 am to Monte and Amber Heyn. She is 6lbs 5 oz. 18 inches long. She is an absolutely precious girl, coming into this world in quite a hurry. Active labour was appr. 1 ¾ hrs long. Both Mom, and baby are doing GREAT.

100 YEAR ANNIVERSARY TRIP
Our return to our ancestral home has sold out!! We have 45 very excited people looking forward to our journey to Romania in September. It has been a lot of fun planning the trip and we all look forward to setting foot in the land of our ancestors on this 100th anniversary of their coming to Canada to create a new life for themselves.
We will be keeping notes on our trip and will post all the details and pictures when we return. So watch for that in the fall. |

Holly Joan Dahl (nee Tonita), born January 20, 1955 passed away from a courageous battle with cancer on March 13, 2007. Holly was predeceased by a son Joel who died in infancy, and by her father Christopher Tonita. She is survived by her husband Roger; daughters Lara (Adrian) Scott, and Julie Ann; son Carlin and grandson Ethan Scott; her mother Lillian Tonita; siblings Shirley (George) Hyer; Larry Tonita; Bonnie (Bob) White and numerous nieces and nephews.
