MG Midget

Well, here is my latest purchase, a 1974 MG Midget. The Oldsmobile is a fun project, but I wanted a fun set of wheels I can drive some time before the next millennium.

I bought this one from a farm north of town. The rumor is that it just had an engine rebuild, but the previous owner got confused by the British carb, so the project ground to a stand still. There it sat for two years. I have been assured that a carb job and a tune up will have her back on the road.

Sounds dubious... If I can't get it to run, the guy I bought it from said he will trade it back to me for some Bri-ex shares....

My wife says she will actually drive this one...
